Warner Music Group

Warner Music has joined the LEC as the Official Music Partner for the 2019 LEC Summer Split. The Warner Music Group is an American multinational entertainment and record label group based in New York City. It is known for being one of the “big three” music industry groups, alongside Universal Music Group and Sony Music Entertainment.

The music label group will provide the LEC with a new soundtrack. At least one song per game will be played during breaks, as well as enhancing the entertainment experience at roadshow events. Warner Music will also create an engaging new content series, which they will announce in the near future.

Tchibo

Tchibo is one of the largest German chains of consumer goods and retail companies. Many know them for their high-quality coffee product, but they also have other goods like clothing, household items, and electronics. In Germany, Tchibo’s slogan is “Every week a new world.”

In this partnership with the LEC, Tchibo will become the National Partner for the DACH region. The DACH region consists of Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. They will patron the pre-show broadcast on the Germany Summoner’s Inn program. Tchibo will also supply the Berlin LEC recording studio with a selection of its merchandise. This will include Tchibo’s popular caffeinated coffee products as well.

During the 2018 LEC Season, it was named the EU LCS instead. On the first day of the Summer Split, G2 Esports, Origen, Misfits Gaming, Fnatic, and FC Schalke 04 brought home victories.
