The world’s fastest 13″ gaming Ultrabook is here. The Razer Blade Stealth 13 is lightweight, tiny, and packed with so much power you won’t know what to do with it. We’ve been trying it out over a couple weeks so we’re here to give you all the inside info. So here it is, the Razer Blade 13.

Tech Specs

Lots of people rave on and on about the specs of any given laptop. The Razer Blade 13 is packed with power in such a small package. We’ll spare you most of the details but what you really need to know is the Blade 13 has the new NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Ti GPU and an i7 processor. And if you can’t live without all the in-depth specs, you can head over to the Razer website. What we’re here to tell you what those specs actually mean. For example, the Razer Blade Stealth 13 has 4K Gorilla Glass touch screen. That means when you open the box and fire up the laptop, you’re greeted with crystal clear, ultra perfect imagery.

Perfection at its finest

After unboxing, I immediately grabbed the computer and stuck my face up to it as far as I could go. The image is pristine! I couldn’t even see the individual pixels, and I have better than 20/20 vision. The graphics blur together in a beautiful life-like crisp display. It refreshes at 120Hz, perfect for gameplay.

Everything is easier to see and experience. From the HD web camera to video editing, to game play. We tested the Blade Stealth 13 to its full limits while streaming. We used the front built-in camera as a secondary IRL stream and fired up a few games. Being able to control the touch screen while streaming is a huge bonus.

The ultrabook didn’t lag out with multiple games, cameras, or tabs running. It’s this kind of multi-tasking which really puts a laptop to the test. If it can survive this, you can put it through almost anything. One thing I dislike about ultrabooks however is the lack of number pad. I’m a number pad kind of person and the Blade Stealth 13 is lacking this. However it would be impossible to have an ultrabook with a number pad and still be as thin and light as the Blade Stealth 13. Seriously I could fit this laptop in my handbag and still have enough space for everything else. Plus it’s light!

Battery life

Next thing I like my portable computers to have is good battery life. Sure if I can fit it in my handbag that’s great. But if I have to take up all the extra weight by glugging around the charger too then it’s pointless. Luckily the Blade Stealth 13 delivers on good battery life. Most specs sheets puts the Blade 13’s battery life between 10 and 13 hours. The profile you choose for your battery performance however has a massive impact on battery life. That said, if you’re like me and simply like to close your laptop lid without shutting down completely, you’ll get plenty of extra life. After a week there was still 18% battery remaining. You’re probably not doing that too often. However 10 hours of battery life is plenty of juice for a day on the go. Any longer and I usually have my luggage with me and an extra battery pack.

There’s also more from the Blade family

The Blade Stealth 13 is available right now. Pick it up from the website starting at $1,699.99 USD ($3,749 AUD). Yes, this isn’t cheap, but you’re buying the world’s smallest ultrabook. It’s not a small price, but it’s worth it for the space and weight saving.

There’s also more from the Blade family if you’re looking to expand. Remember we reviewed the Razer Blade 15? It’s now available in Quartz. The Razer Studio Edition has now also been released. It’s got a 10th Gen Intel processor and 4K OLED touch screen.
