Winter has come to Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds and it looks epic. Announced officially tonight at The Game Awards 2018, Vikendi makes it debut tonight on PC test servers. It launches officially on PC on Dec 19. This winter map provides tons of challenges and you have to be careful that you don’t become the prey when hunting for enemies as the added realistic effect of leaving footprints in the snow makes finding your opponents that much easier. Besides the new map we also are getting a new vehicle – a snowmobile, because what would winter be without one? You can see the reveal trailer below.

PUBG is also getting a deadly new weapon the G36C. I think players will find creative ways to utilize the Snowmobile in their battles such as jumping off to ambush targets or simply using it for a quick getaway.
PUBG On PS4
For those who don’t play PUBG on PC fear not, the PS4 version launches tomorrow. Important for PS4 players, at launch Solo TPP is the only mode available. As soon as more players come online, however, more modes will be added according to the official news here. Maps you can check out include, Erangel, Miramar, and Sanhok.
