According to Joe Merrick of Serebii, the Mystery Gift distribution took place on a Korean Livestream. The gift contains 12 Exp. Candy XL and 12 Big Nuggets. Players can get the gift with the code ADVENTUREB9F. Here’s how to redeem the code:

  1. Open the main menu by hitting X
  2. Select “Mystery Gift”
  3. Select “Get a Mystery Gift”
  4. Choose “Get with Code/Password”
  5. Enter ADVENTUREB9F

Players can only redeem the gift code once, and the items will appear in their bag upon redemption. This Pokémon Mystery Gift is a great way to get valuable items for leveling up Pokémon and getting money.

“Serebii Update: A new Pokémon Sword & Shield distribution has begun. Offers 12 Exp. Candy XL and 12 Big Nuggets. Available through the code: ADVENTUREB9F. Available until 14:59 UTC on April 3rd 2021.”

What to do with the Mystery Gift contents

Exp. Candy XL and Big Nuggets are great items for competitive Pokémon players. Pokémon must be level 100 for players to Hyper Train them. This makes the experience extremely valuable, and leveling up takes a lot of time to do without the candy. Exp. Candy XL gives 30,000 experience per pop and makes it significantly easier and faster to get those levels.

Big Nuggets sell for a whopping 20,000 in Pokémon Sword and Shield, which makes all 12 from the Mystery Gift go for 240,000. This money can be put to good use by purchasing vitamins for EV training. Players can EV train their Pokémon naturally, but like leveling them up, it’s much faster to use items.

Players who are interested in competing in the Pokémon Players Cup IV VGC tournament should take advantage of this opportunity while it lasts. Of course, this is also a great gift for casual players just looking to get some extra money and levels.
