Right after the Shanghai Dragons would release their roster, another team would follow suit. The new, unnamed expansion team from Paris has shown its full Overwatch League team to the world. Also, Atlanta has revealed their team name to the world as well. First, let’s look at the lineup for Paris OWL.

The lineup is made up of only European players, which is a refreshing change from the constant acquisitions of full Korean roster by some teams. Additionally, four of the players are from France. Paris also represents the only full Western team in the league right now. Now, the DPS players stand as Terence “SoOn” Tarlier, George “ShaDowBurn” Gushcha, Nicolas “NiCO” Moret and Karol “Danye” Szcześniak.
Their tanks are led by Roni “LhCloudy” Tiihonen, Benjamin “BenBest” Dieulafait and Finnbjörn “Finnsi” Jónasson as flex. Finally, their supports are Damien “HyP” Souville and Harrison “Kruise” Pond. The ship will have Julien “daemoN” Ducros at the helm as the team’s head coach. Together these players have the potential to be a very strong team going into the second season of the Overwatch League. Although Paris is showing off their new roster additions, they are still teasing another member. If you look closely in the drawing they tweeted, there is a person with a question mark on their pants with no face. Additionally, the Paris team has not shown their branding either.
Paris roster standouts
There are some big names on this Paris roster that could propel them to the top of the league. For example, the DPS duo of SoOn and ShaDowBurn could be incredibly effective, should they find synergy together with the rest of the team. SoOn is coming from a pretty decent first season with the Los Angeles Valiant. They would end up as one of the top team in the league, finishing third overall, with SoOn as a big part of their success.
ShaDowBurn was formerly on the Philadelphia Fusion. However, with big name DPS players like Jae-hyeok “Carpe” Lee and Josh “Eqo” Corona, he would not get much playing time. Fortunately, ShaDowBurn would prove his worth and play really well at the Overwatch World Cup for Team Russia. As a result, he would become a top commodity heading into the offseason. The duo should be able to carry some games for this talented Paris roster.
More Big Announcements
Additionally, Atlanta is one of the first expansion teams to reveal their branding for the team:

The organization has chosen the Atlanta Reign as their name, a strong title that should get some fans behind them. They have not revealed their lineup as of yet. Overwatch League fans are still waiting for the rest of the cities to reveal both their name and lineup. We still wait for China’s Hangzhou, Chengdu, and Guangzhou, as well as Washington D.C. In Canada, we wait for Vancouver’s announcements, as well as Toronto’s.
However, Toronto’s Overwatch team will be revealing their branding and lineup this week in Toronto on October 24th. They will be streaming the event on the team’s Twitch as well. Tickets for the event sold out in minutes, but there is another chance for Toronto fans to see their new team! The Toronto OWL team will be appearing at the Enthusiast Gaming Live Expo (EGLX) that weekend from October 26-28. You can still buy tickets to the expo at EGLX.ca. Don’t miss it!
