Amid all of the OpTic Gaming buyout rumors, there seem to be a few members that won’t go quietly. Even with the sale of OpTic’s parent company, Infinite Esports, some original creators have now shown they’re staying loyal to OpTic with a new apparel brand.
While the OpTic Gaming brand might belong to Immortals now, there’s still hope for the Greenwall. Nobody knows how Immortals will handle the future of OpTic yet. However, several top personalities for OpTic are going out of their way to make sure the team sticks around.

The launch of a new apparel brand
With OpTic awaiting word on what Immortals will do with their brand, its creators took it upon themselves keep the brand alive. While the design doesn’t match the current team’s logo, it does match one used quite a long time ago.
Appropriately named ‘OG’ — for “Old Guard” — the new apparel line is showcased by some of OpTic’s biggest names. Among them are Create, Hitch, Maniac, BigTymer, MBoze, and Flamesword (not pictured above).
As of right now, this apparel line only has one item, which is the “Chainbreaker” shirt shown in the image above. This t-shirt will be available on June 15, with no price currently set. There’s no word yet on how shipping will work for consumers outside of North America, either.

What this new brand means for OpTic
Even though this brand showcases the old OpTic logo, this in no way indicates whether OpTic is staying or going. There are varying reports concerning the future of OpTic, with some saying Immortals will continue to support the organization.
However, this new apparel line is simply for the ‘OG’ fans of OpTic, or the Old Guard. Plus, the promoted shirt does send a message: OpTic will never fully die.
