This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

The Norwegian esports organization, Nordavind DNB, has announced that two of its star Hearthstone players have re-signed with the team, Casper “Hunterace” Notto and Jaromír “Jarla” Vyskočil. Nordavind DNB is an organization that almost exclusively focuses on Norwegian esports talent. However, their teams and players compete all over the world. The Hearthstone division of Nordavind DNB was started back in February of 2018, when the former BX3 roster formed a partnership with the Norwegian football club Vålerenga Fotball.

The best Hearthstone player of all time

Hunterace is considered by many as one of the best Hearthstone players of all time. Throughout his years competing under the Nordavind DNB roster, Hunterace has won several of the 2018 Tour stops, winning both HCT Italy and HCT Seoul back to back. Hunterace’s most significant achievement, however, is becoming the Hearthstone world champion of 2019. Through his time competing under the Nordavind DNB banner, the organization has helped Hunterace with whatever he needed, including helping him through his time in school, which he was required to complete before competing full-time.

Nordavind DNB Jarla

Now, Hunterace competes alongside his teammate Jarla as Hearthstone Grandmasters. Jarla is best known for his performance on the Hearthstone ladder. Throughout the years, Jarla has consistently been at the top of the leaderboards. His effort on the Hearthstone ladder and his consistency at live events helped Jarla qualify for the exclusive Hearthstone Grandmasters.

In the first season of the Hearthstone Grandmasters, Jarla managed to finish 8th place. In the second season, however, Jarla managed to earn himself the 3rd place spot, defeating his teammate in the 3rd/4th place match. The duo will be competing at the upcoming Master Tour event in Arlington this weekend. They will also be competing in the third season of Hearthstone Grandmasters later this year.
