Hailee Steinfeld, Oscar-nominated actress from True Grit and Gwen Stacy in Spider-Man: Enter the Spiderverse, voices Vi. Ella Purnell, popular from the show Sweetbitter and the movie Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, voices Jinx. Kevin Alejandro, known from Arrow and True Blood, voices Jayce. Katie Leung, popular for playing Cho Chang in the Harry Potter movies, voices Caitlyn. Harry Lloyd, known from The Theory of Everything and The Iron Lady, voices Viktor.

Other characters are new to the League of Legends lore, not being playable characters in the game. First is JB Blanc, who voices Vander. Toks Olagundoye voices Mel. Lastly, revealed today, Jason Spisak voices Silco.

Many of these actors and actresses share a lot of experience in voice acting. Even though the non-playable characters aren’t known by fans yet, the thread that Netflix posted does include character images.

First proper trailer coming soon

With this cast reveal, the tweets from Netflix also confirmed the first trailer’s release date. On September 25, fans of the game and the voice actor will be able to see and hear this work for the first time. Plus, the original teaser trailer only hinted at a couple of characters, with these tweets adding in characters like Jayce. The teaser that revealed this project didn’t have much, meaning this trailer will be the big reveal.

This reveal will be at the Netflix-hosted event Tudum. This event will reveal a lot of upcoming content for Netflix, which includes this work from their partnership with Riot Games. Make sure to tune into that event on September 25 to see these classic League of Legends characters come to another medium.
