Anytime you’re having a game issue stopping you from playing an online game like Call of Duty: MW3: Zombies there are a few things you should try. These are common troubleshooting tactics that could be enough to give you a fix or answer as to what is going on.

If you’re still having trouble loading MW3: Zombies then the best thing to do that could resolve the problem is to verify your file integrity.

This error for many players appears to be linked to corrupted files so verifying your files can identify and repair these errors. Depending on the device you are using the process for checking the files can be different, but it’s basically the same.

For Steam do the following:

  1. Head to your Game Library on Steam
  2. Right-click on MW3
  3. Choose ‘Properties’
  4. Now, pick ‘Local Files’
  5. Finally, select ‘Verify integrity of game files’

For Xbox gamers do this:

  1. From the Xbox menu choose ‘Games and Applications’
  2. Pick ‘Games’
  3. Find MW3 from your collection
  4. Select ‘Options’
  5. Choose ‘Verify the integrity of the game files’

Sadly, there is no way to verify file integrity on PlayStation so if this issue continues to occur you’ll need to move on to one of the next suggestions.

If verifying file integrity hasn’t solved your problem then the next thing you should try is to completely uninstall and reinstall Call of Duty: MW3. Sometimes this is necessary as it provides a complete reset to the game files on your system and can fix anything that might have been corrupted over time.
