Also, a cinematic trailer for Season Two seems to tease at the battle royale mode. So, while Infinity Ward hasn’t made it official, it’s clear they’re developing the concept.
Fast forward a few hours from the update, and we have a load of leaks to unpack. Data-miner TheGamingRevolution apparently has sources feeding him images, so let’s take a look.

The image is leaked from a source on Reddit, so unfortunately, we can’t verify it. However, TheGamingRevolution has multiple sources, so we’re taking his word on this. In addition to the name, TGR also has information on the release for the mode. Apparently, battle royale will be free-to-play and available both as a standalone game and within Modern Warfare itself. This is great news for fans of the genre, as Activision is trying to tap into the free-to-play market.
Besides the branding, TGR has tweeted out several images supposedly from the battle royale mode. We’re not going to show them all, but you can check out his Twitter if you would like to do so.
