May 2018 GWENT Open concludes with participants earning from a $25,000 prize pool

It’s going to be a long time for Witcher 3’s GWENT card game to overtake Hearthstone as the top CCG competition in eSports (if it ever will, for that matter). However, it still has a faithful player base looking to challenge other pros for the top spot. This month’s GWENT Open concluded with Ilias “AretuzaAndyWand” Karamanis from Germany taking home the victory, along with $9,800 as the tournament prize. Damian “TailBot” Kaźmierczak of Poland, meanwhile, took home second place and $5,050. Other participants from Ukraine, Spain, and even China split the remainder of the overall $25,000 pool.
