With Maister’s addition to the line-up, Smash Ultimate Summit 4 will now feature the most Mexican players of any Smash Summit. Maister will join his countrymen Leonardo “MkLeo” López Pérez, Edgar “Sparg0” Valdez and Santiago “Chag” Perez. Also, Maister will celebrate his 22nd birthday at the Summit Gaming House on March 3.

As a Super Smash Bros. Brawl veteran and a Smash community member for nearly 12 years, NAKAT has finally achieved his “LAST goal as a competitor” by getting voted into Smash Ultimate Summit 4. This will mark his first appearance at a Smash Summit.

A pair of spacie mains fell out of the voting process on Wednesday: Falco main Michael “Tilde” Tedesco and Wolf main Larry “Larry Lurr” Holland. Notably, Tilde peaked as high as second in votes leading up to the end of the voting period. However, he quickly dropped to seventh place and faced elimination.

More about Maister and NAKAT at Smash Ultimate Summit 4

Smash Ultimate Summit 4 vote-in Maister was recently ranked in North America’s S tier on PGRUContenders. As a result, he tied with Kolawole “Kola” Aideyan as the highest-ranked player who neither qualified for Summit nor received an automatic invitation. In addition, this tournament will mark Maister’s third consecutive Smash Ultimate Summit appearance.

Only one more voting period remains. Fans will find out which two players will join Maister and NAKAT at Smash Ultimate Summit 4 at 3 p.m. ET on Friday.
