Lui$ stayed true to his status as the No. 1 seed, winning the tournament with little opposition along the way. In fact, he did not face a single opponent who could push him to game five. Lui$ kicked off the bracket with his most convincing win — a 3-0 victory over James “Eon” Perez.

In Winners Quarters, Lui$ defeated Alex “Razo” Sanchez 3-1. Then in Winners Semis, he earned another 3-1 win against Larry “Larry Lurr” Holland. Finally, Lui$ fought Varun “varun” Rao in both Winners Finals and Grand Finals. He won both sets 3-1, thus securing his 1st place finish at the 2GG West Coast Invitational.

Other results from the 2GG West Coast Invitational

Because of his fantastic performance at the recent Frame Perfect Series 3: Online, varun was this event’s No. 2 seed. He met expectations, placing 2nd at the 2GG West Coast Invitational. Besides the sets he lost to Lui$, varun largely coasted through this event. He beat Raj “Silver” Nadiger 3-0, Jesus “MastaMario” Fragoza 3-0, Charlie “Charliedaking” Antoun 3-1, and Razo 3-0.

Razo beat Guillermo “Stroder Ame” Martinez Jr. before falling to Lui$ in Winners Quarters. However, he made a solid losers run from there, ultimately finishing in 3rd place. Razo won sets over Antonio “Grandmaster” J., James “VoiD” Makekau-Tyson, and Charliedaking en route to the top 4. In addition to this, Razo defeated Stroder Ame again before finally losing to varun in Losers Finals.

Like Razo, the player who double-eliminated him, Stroder Ame had a strong showing in the losers bracket at this tournament. He eliminated Eon, Matt “Elegant” Fitzpatrick, MastaMario, and Larry Lurr. As a result, Stroder Ame finished in 4th place at the 2GG West Coast Invitational.
