Just week a before its homestand, the Los Angeles Guerrillas have made a couple of roster moves. Announced yesterday on Twitter, the Guerrillas have added two up and coming amateur players to their roster. We’re unsure of how this affects the starting roster, but it seems like a shakeup is in order after L.A.’s rough start to the CDL. Of course, these moves aren’t official until the Call of Duty League gives its sign of approval. However, nothing should hold up these transactions from becoming official.
Guerrillas add to their roster before CDL L.A.
The Guerrillas are currently in 8th place of the Call of Duty League standings. They’ve only managed to win one series while losing three. Although, some would argue they were robbed in their match with the Minnesota Rokkr on Launch Weekend.
Nonetheless, L.A. obviously isn’t where they want to be a month into the CDL. The veteran players aren’t performing up to standards, with Patrick “Aches” Price and Andy “Lacefield” Lacefield the main culprits.
With such a porous start to the season, L.A. has signed two amateur players from the CDL Challengers league.
Change is happening. We're adding to the squad.

Kris “Spart” Cervantez and Reece “Vivid” Drost are both amateur players who have been doing quite well in Modern Warfare. Spart just recently won the CDL Atlanta Challengers event with FaZe Clan’s Academy team and consistently placed well all year.
Vivid was a part of Hybrid Gaming this year and while his team hasn’t done terribly, Vivid really made a name for himself last year. He competed at most major open events and placed in the top 6 a couple of times.
As we aforementioned, we’re not sure if either player will get the chance to see the mainstage. However, with Aches and Lacefield rumored to be on the outs, Spart and Vivid could make their debut very soon.
