The Royal Ravens gave this statement in a tweet: “It’s with a heavy heart we announce the release of Zer0 and Coach Dominate from the Royal Ravens. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have been unable to get both individuals into the US and implement the plan we had for this season. We wish them nothing but the best.”

The London Royal Ravens have made the most roster changes during the 2021 Cold War season. They have had over eight players signed to the team at once this season alone. Most of those roster moves, such as Zer0 and Alex “Alexx” Carpenter have been out of the organization’s control. However, the roster moves that London are continuing to make have been nothing but failed attempts at preserving their roster.

Zer0 was one of the original four signed to the team back in October of 2020. The pandemic forced both Zer0 and Dominate to remain in Europe while their other teammates traveled to the US. The Royal Ravens first made the announcement that Zer0 would be late to joining the roster before the Call of Duty League started in January of this year. Stand-in member Christopher “Parasite” Duarte took his place temporarily. However, as the season progressed, Zer0’s absence became more of an issue.

London Royal Ravens continue to struggle with European players

The London Royal Ravens roster currently consists of two American players and two European players that are in America. Zer0 wasn’t the only player that had issues with travel as Alexx also left the active roster before Stage 2 to return to Europe due to family issues. It has now been over a month with no news if Alexx will ever return to the main roster. His replacement from Stage two,  Zach “Zed” Denyer recently signed as a full-time player for the team back in March. It is unknown if Alexx, like Zer0 and Dominate, will return to the team. Dominate, the head coach for the London Royal Ravens has not yet been replaced. The Royal Ravens have one other strategic coach by the name of Shane “ShAnE” McKerral but he has not been made head coach at the time of publication.
