Logic will be making his esports debut on the virtual stage as part of the LCS Finals Opening Ceremony. He chose the right time to enter, as the LCS has seen a 25% increase in its audience compared to its previous year. Last weekend, the TSM vs. C9 match peaked at 520 thousand viewers, which broke the viewership record for the 2019 Summer Finals. Logic’s performance may double the viewership considering he is a multi-Platinum selling artist with millions of fans.

Logic’s new path into gaming and esports

As someone with plenty of partnerships and team investments in the gaming industry, it’s no surprise that he’s involved himself in such a big celebration. Although he stated that he is retired from his music career, his rare return for the LCS Finals allows him a chance to perform in front of NA’s largest fan base. The song he will perform is “Perfect,” which has amassed over one million YouTube views since its release July 24.

Although Logic has not played League of Legends on his Twitch, he has streamed other games such as Call of Duty, and Fall Guys. For his last stream, he gave viewers a breakdown of No Pressure and and insight behind his lyrics.

The Finals will begin September 6 at 1 PM PT with the Opening Ceremony presented by Mastercard. The match will revolve around FlyQuest and the winner from Saturday’s Team Liquid vs. TSM game. Fans can tune in to watch the matches go live on the official lolesports website.
