Runeterra Patch 3.6.0 also features three new cards that will support certain archetypes. The Mighty of The Vanguard will improve the Elites package while For Glory will help activate Reputation quicker. For Glory can also work as a way to take away threats from the opponent’s backline. The last card, Inner Beast will act as a flexible card that works with several Freljord decks and also benefit Udyr in-game.

Asides from new cards, Patch 3.6.0 comes with more than 13 champion and related cards updates. Most of the champion buffs occur in either level 1 or 2 to increase their pick potential in games.  The affected champions include Ashe, Darius, Galio, Garen, Karma, Leblanc, Leona, Malphite, Nasus, Nocturne Sion, Udyr and Vladimir. Meanwhile, Riot nerfed both The Bandle Tree and Yordle in Arms spell.

New Game Rules in Legends of Runeterra Patch 3.6.0

One of the biggest changes in Legends of Runeterra Patch 3.6.0 is the burst and pass rule. From this patch, players can now end the round if their opponent passes after playing only a Burst or Focus spell.

Riot decided to make this change to create consistency between how gameplay flows outside and inside of combat and reduce unnecessary passes and pass backs. This new rule will also allow players to take risker moves in the late game.

Furthermore, Patch 3.6.0 will also merge Cast with Play.  The term “Play” in Runeterra happens when a card is used or goes onto the stack. This change will increase the utility of slow spells, improve gameplay and fuse the timing of Spell Listeners.

Additionally, Riot has added custom champion spell card art to all existing Epic tier skins and visual effects for Pool Party Draven’s Spinning Axe Spell.
