Latest Call of Duty: Warzone patch nerfed the DMR, fixed Stim glitch

Raven Software has released a new patch in Call of Duty: Warzone that solves a plethora of the game’s issues. Released on January 13, Raven appears to have listened to community feedback on a wide range of matters. First and foremost, the developers finally substantially nerfed the Warzone DMR 14 tactical rifle. While the weapon was nerfed last week, fans agreed more nerfs were needed to stop the weapon’s dominance. Also coming with the patch is a fix for the Stim glitch and some adjustments to other weapons in the game.

The newest update for the battle royale is now available for all systems and players. The patch size differs for each system, but all in all, the download isn’t too large. However, players would likely wait all day to download the patch if it meant a nerf to the DMR, which the update delivers.

Raven Software finally did some real damage to the DMR’s stats and the community is thrilled. Many are hoping this is the end of “DMRZone,” but some are hoping the weapon isn’t completely unusable.
