We now have what is expected to be the final fighters of the Super Smash Bros Ultimate roster. Ken from Street Fighter and Incineroar are the final two characters confirmed by a Nintendo Direct. Furthermore, Masahiro Sakurai has stated that these are the last two fighters to be revealed before the release of the game.

The characters were revealed up front in the Nintendo Direct shown on Nintendo’s Twitch channel on November 1, 2018. Ken was very much expected as an Echo Fighter (Smash Bros Ultimate‘s version of skins for certain characters), but it would appear he’s going to have a number of his own unique moves to use. Incineroar on the other hand is going to be an all-new character, featuring fiery wrestling moves to punish opponents with flashy and lavish attacks. You can check out a trailer featuring just these characters reveals just below.

That wasn’t all that was revealed in the Nintendo Direct though. With 40 minutes of new info, the Direct went past Ken and Incineroar to talk about all the new features coming to Smash Bros Ultimate. From new game modes, to new assist trophies, and so much more, Smash Bros Ultimate is looking absolutely packed. You can check out the entire Nintendo Direct below to see these and more reveals.

With these final fighters revealed, we now have the full character roster for the launch of Super Smash Bros Ultimate according to director Masahiro Sakurai. It may be disappointing to those who were waiting on the likes of Geno, Waluigi, and Rhythm Beat and Golden Sun characters as pointed out in various leaks, but the roster still houses a wealth of great characters, and there’s definitely still room for DLC. Ken and Incineroar round out an already great roster nicely.

In fact, Masahiro Sakurai went on to reveal a new Fighter’s Pass featuring five characters and stages. Each fighter and their stage alone will be $5.99, but the Fighter’s Pass which includes all characters can be purchased for $24.99. This will also feature new music, Mii costumes, and more. Finally, a bonus was offered for those who pre-order Smash Bros Ultimate and the Fighter’s Pass for a limited of time will get one of the characters for free. The first character will be Piranha Plant from Super Mario Bros.

Ken, Incineroar, and the rest of the Super Smash Bros Ultimate roster will be coming to play on December 7, 2018. Who would you like to see added to the game after the fact?
