The Season 4 Reloaded update in Call of Duty: Warzone has certainly caused a massive shakeup in the weapon meta. This was likely developer Raven Software’s end goal, as the meta had gone fairly stagnant for a majority of Season 4. The NZ-41 dominated the bulk of loadouts in any given match. Despite receiving two nerfs over the course of Season 4, the NZ-41 was still the strongest weapon in the game. Although, the NZ received yet another nerf in Season 4 Reloaded and now it’s more vulnerable than ever. Warzone YouTuber JoeWo believes that because of this nerf, and a buff to another Vanguard assault rifle, the NZ-41’s time atop the meta has come to an end.
The NZ-41 received four total nerfs in Season 4 Reloaded, which players can see below.
- Sustained Recoil Control decreased
- Max Damage range decreased to 33.5 meters, down from 35.6 meters.
- Min Damage decreased to 30, down from 34
- Neck Damage Multiplier decreased to 1.27, down from 1.3
That’s a substantial change to the overall stats of the NZ-41. While the AR is still strong in Season 4, other weapons have caught up to it. JoeWo thinks one of those guns is the KG M40, which was the beneficiary of three buffs in Season 4 Reloaded. The YouTuber states in a recent video that because of the buffs to the KG M40, it might surpass the NZ-41 over the next couple of weeks.
The KG M40 already had an above-average loadout in Warzone. The AR has terrific recoil control and damage range, which made it a direct competitor to the NZ-41 before the Reloaded update. Now, after it, the KG M40 arguably has an even stronger loadout. Below, fans can see JoeWo’s best loadout for the KG M40 in Warzone.
- Muzzle: MX Silencer
- Barrel: Reisdorf 720mm Shrouded
- Optic: SVT-40 PU Scope 3-6x
- Stock: VDD 22G Padded
- Underbarrel: M1930 Strife Angled
- Magazine: 8mm Klauser 60 Round Drums
- Ammo Type: Lengthened
- Rear Grip: Hatched Grip
- Perk 1: Tight Grip
- Perk 2: Fully Loaded
This loadout is primarily focused on increasing accuracy. A majority of the attachments on this loadout, including the MX Silencer, Reisforf 720mm Shrouded, VDD 22G Padded, M1930 Strife Angled, Hatched Grip, and Tight Grip, boost recoil control in one way or the other. Players have the ability to beam enemies across the map without so much as moving their aim. Pair this with the KG M40’s buffed damage range, and players arguably have a stronger loadout than that of the NZ-41’s in Warzone.
