Even after a series of nerfs and buffs to other weapons, the NZ-41 from Vanguard is still atop the gun meta in Call of Duty: Warzone Season 4 Reloaded. While the Reloaded update buffed a plethora of other ARs, the NZ-41 is barely hanging on as the game’s top weapon. However, other guns have certainly emerged to challenge this claim. Warzone expert and YouTuber JGOD has identified one rifle that players should consider using if they want to combat the NZ-41 in Season 4 Reloaded.
JGOD singled out the XM4 AR from Black Ops Cold War. Once upon a time, the XM4 was in the NZ-41’s place as the best AR in Warzone. After some nerfs and Vanguard being introduced, though, the XM4 fell out of favor with fans. As of right now, the XM4 has an abysmally low pick rate of 1.5% in Season 4, meaning a majority of players aren’t using it at all. While this may be true, JGOD thinks the XM4’s best loadout can easily compete with any NZ-41 loadout.

JGOD’s XM4 loadout in Warzone
JGOD posted a new video showcasing his XM4 loadout as well as the Cold War MP5, which we covered in a previous loadout guide. While these weapons are absolutely not in the meta, JGOD displays how strong they can still be with the right attachments.
- Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
- Barrel: 13.5″ Task Force
- Optic: Axial Arms 3x
- Magazine: STANAG 60 Rnd
- Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip
Fans who have used the XM4 in the past will know that loadout by heart; JGOD didn’t change anything up from the AR’s previous loadout, as these attachments are the strongest ones players can equip in Warzone. Players can use the XM4, and even pair it with the Cold War MP5 for a full throwback, to compete with any NZ-41 loadout they run into in Warzone Season 4.
