Inside sources leaks potential rosters for every Call of Duty League team

This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

The Call of Duty League news won’t stop coming and it’s likely not going to end for some time. With the CDL’s transition to a 4v4 format, teams are scrambling to find the best available players. However, this needs to be accompanied by finding players who fit certain roles. Traditionally, a team needs two SMGs, one Flex, and one main Assault Rifle. Signing players who fit those roles exactly is often difficult. However, an inside source has leaked every potential CDL roster for 2021, and it seems like teams are managing just fine.

A look at the potential 2021 Call of Duty League rosters

This leak comes from leaker Call of Duty League Intel on Twitter. The leaker recently published a report that goes over what he’s been hearing from his sources about the 2021 rosters. However, even he has stated that the rosters have changed a plethora of times in the days leading up to Free Agency. So while his sources are usually accurate, things could change on a dime.

Below, you can see CDL Intel’s Google Docs form that lists every new addition to each CDL team for 2021.

CDL Intel stated that these are the most up-to-date rosters as of yesterday. Of course, Free Agency hasn’t even begun, so it’s likely that at least a few organizations will change rosters between now and then. However, we can still have a look at the potential teams above.

For starters, it seems most of the rumors we’ve been hearing are true. Chicago is the frontrunner to sign Dashy, New York is in the lead for Clayster, and Atlanta could reunite Arcitys with Simp and aBeZy. Though, some rosters are completely new.

For example, Minnesota looks menacing with its four new additions that fill out roles nicely. Along with the Rokkr, the Seattle Surge is looking revamped for 2021. There are also some surprises, like Paris reportedly not signing any big-name players. Also, London seems to have missed out on many top players, which brings into question its decision to drop brothers Skrapz and Wuskinz.

There’s always time for these rosters to change though, so don’t get too attached with any team. Free Agency begins on September 14 so all could become clear by then.
