Format of IEM Summer 2021

IEM Summer is split into two parts: two group brackets and the playoffs. The group brackets feature a double-elimination format with eight teams in each group. While the opening round of the series will feature all best-of-one faceoffs, the rest of the tournament will take place in a best-of-three format. The top three teams of each bracket will move onto the playoffs where they’ll face off to determine the IEM Summer 2021 champions.
