WCK 2022 format

WCK 2022 spring season will feature six teams to play in a double round-robin against the other five teams in the league. This will be the group stage. In the group stage, each match will be a best-of-three. After the 10 matches, two against each team, the top four teams will move onto the playoffs.

The WCK 2022 spring playoffs will be single-elimination. In the first round, which is also technically the semifinals, the teams will be seeded based on their group stage performance. The semifinals feature a best-of-five format. The winners of the two semifinals matches will move onto the grand finals, which will be a best-of-seven. The winner will earn a trip to Icons and will represent Korea at the world championship.

Wild Rift teams

Four of the teams competing have already been deciding. These four teams are franchises that already compete in the League of Legends Champions Korea league. The four teams are T1, KT Rolster, Kwangdong Freecs and SANDBOX Gaming. The LCK directly invited these four teams to compete in the new league. The other two teams are coming from a qualifier tournament that will round out the six-team league.

The rosters for the invited teams are not public at this time.

Where to watch WCK 2022
