Hearthstone Masters Tour Silvermoon will kick off this Friday, Aug. 27. Competitors will duke it out for a share of the $250,000 prize pool.
How it works
The tournament will run from Aug. 27-29. On Friday, the first four Swiss rounds will be featured in the live broadcast. Round 5 through 8 will be played on Saturday. Sunday will feature the top 16, followed by the quarterfinals, semifinals and finals.
Hearthstone Masters Tour Silvermoon players will bring four decks into the fray. The Conquest with a ban format will also involve a best-of-five.
How to earn card packs
Hearthstone fans can catch all the Masters Tour Silvermoon action over on YouTube. Viewers also have the chance to earn Year of the Phoenix card packs throughout the tournament.
To participate in these card drops, viewers must link their YouTube and Battle.net accounts. They must visit the “Connected Apps” tab under Settings and click on the “Connect” button located beside Battle.net.
One Year of the Phoenix card pack can be earned after watching two hours of Hearthstone Masters Tour Silvermoon. A second card pack can be gained after watching for another two more hours. The time watched throughout the event will be cumulative.

Hearthstone Grandmasters Season 2 will take a pause during Masters Tour Silvermoon. However, the third week of Grandmasters Season 2 will resume on Sept. 3.
Muzahidul “muzzy” Islam, Damien “Gaby” Mecheri and Pa “GivePLZ” Yu Hsin were the regional champions of Hearthstone Grandmasters 2021 Season 2 Week 1.
Meanwhile, the champions of the second week were Ishibashi “posesi” Wataru, Neila “Frenetic” Quiñones and Jerome “Monsanto” Faucher. Similar to Masters Tour Silvermoon, viewers of these live broadcasts have the opportunity to earn some card packs.
