How to unlock the TAQ Evolvere in MW3 and Warzone

Season 1 Reloaded introduces two new weapons into the fray in Call of Duty MW3 and Warzone. One is the HMR-9 submachine gun and the other is the TAQ Evolvere light machine gun.

You might be slightly confused in regards to the TAQ Evolvere, as there’s already an LMG on the TAQ platform in MW3. The TAQ Eradicator was introduced during the preseason of the game via the Weekly Challenges system, but the TAQ Evolvere is a completely different weapon. Well, different in the sense that it has a slightly altered name and appearance.

Unlocking the TAQ Evolvere in MW3 and Warzone

Unlike the unlock process for the HMR-9 in MW3, the TAQ Evolvere is unlocked via a Weekly Challenge. This means you need to complete five challenges in the Week 7 section of the Weekly Challenges menu in either MW3, Warzone, or Zombies. You can access your Challenges tab by pressing the six squares icon in the top-right of the main lobby screen.

Here, you can see all the various weeks of the Weekly Challenges. The TAQ Evolvere is the reward for Week 7, and it can only be unlocked by completing five of the 15 total challenges in that week. You can choose to complete your challenges in multiplayer, battle royale, Zombies, or mix and match. For example, you can complete two of the multiplayer challenges and three of the Zombies challenges and still unlock the TAQ Evolvere. All that matters is you complete five challenges, it doesn’t matter what mode those challenges are from.

Once you accomplish that task, the TAQ Evolvere will be unlocked in the Gunsmith of MW3 and Warzone. You can then level it up, unlock camos, and equip attachments on the LMG.
