Call of Duty Mobile finally released for all major operating systems worldwide earlier this week. Out of the gate, the game has received nearly universal praise for its integration of previous Call of Duty titles. Along with this, the content stream and microtransactions are fair and not secretive, unlike other large-scale multiplayer games, mobile or not.
Though the game has been met with little criticism, there is one nagging issue. Before launch, players were led to believe that controllers would be available for use on iOS and Android via Bluetooth. However, iOS did not release with controller capability, leaving players to use their fingers to move around and shoot.
While this is how the game was intended to be played, some in the community want a little more freedom. As such, some websites are giving this freedom in the form of online emulators for PC.

Steps for playing COD Mobile on PC
Something of this nature was bound to happen sooner or later. A majority of mobile games do have ports via emulators available online, though some can be dangerous for PCs. It took less than a day for multiple websites to set up emulators for COD Mobile, and most seem legitimate.
The biggest problem with emulators is they can violate the publisher’s terms of service. Most restrict access to the system(s) the game is intended for, meaning emulators can be shut down at any time. So far, however, COD Mobile emulators don’t appear to violate Activision’s terms of service.
This leaves the door open for all kinds of websites to make their emulator available for download. A majority are free and, from what we can tell, safe for your PC in terms of viruses. YouTuber JackTheBus breaks it down in his video:
In short, this simply involves downloading software from Gameloop and installing it on your PC. If you click this link, you’ll be directed to the Gameloop download page. From there, follow the steps to install the software.
Once the Gameloop launcher is installed, you’ll come to an application page with Call of Duty Mobile available to download. Click download, and as soon as it’s done you’ll be able to launch COD Mobile on your PC.
The emulator comes with keybinds already set in place, though you can still tinker with ADS and other settings. If you want your mobile and PC accounts to sync up, then you’ll have to make an account using Facebook and not continue as a guest. This will make it so you can play on either device and your progress will be transferred over.
Though there are some bugs with the software, this is by far the safest and easiest way to play COD Mobile on PC to date. Stay tuned to Daily Esports for more COD Mobile coverage!
