How to get the High Albedo Sidearm in Destiny 2

This three-round burst sidearm is still one of the best

For players looking to find a strong Sidearm in Destiny 2, the High Albedo from Beyond Light is still one of the better ones around.

As a three-round burst Sidearm, while not commonly used, the High Albedo is a solid, consistent sidearm that is useful in both PvP and PvE play. Here is how to get the High Albedo Sidearm in Destiny 2, with all the different methods available.

Complete A Hard Rain Falls Quest

First off, the easiest way to get the High Albedo Sidearm in Destiny 2 is to complete the “A Hard Rain Falls” quest, from the Beyond Light campaign. To complete that quest, talk to the Exo Stranger and complete Patrols or Public Events in the Eclipsed Zone. Then, to find the correct zone, it’ll have an orange marker near its name in the Director. To confirm, you should be able to see things falling from the sky if you’re in the right area.

After you complete the amount needed, return to the Exo Stranger to get your High Albedo.

High-Value Target reward drops

This option is a lot more random, but those orange-bar health enemies in Europa can drop the High Albedo. After defeating these enemies, they will always drop a loot chest, which will always have a random Europa weapon. The High Albedo is in that pool, so go hunting for enemies in Europa to try and get this sidearm.

The Sabotage tree can lead to Europa Gear from Lost Sector runs

The last consistent way to try and hunt for a High Albedo gun in Destiny 2 is through the Sabotage upgrade tree. Toward the end of it, you can unlock Europan gear, with the second tier giving the player a free Europa weapon for their first Lost Sector run each week. Much like the High-Value Target drops, the weapon rewarded is random, but you can stack it on top of others to try and get the gun.
