How to get the FTAC Siege in DMZ

The new pistol in Season 3 Reloaded

Yesterday in the Season 3 Reloaded update for Call of Duty: Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2, the FTAC Siege was added to the weapon pool. This fully automatic pistol is unlocked by completing a weapon challenge or buying a store bundle with a blueprint for it included. Once players have the FTAC Siege, they will be able to use it across any game mode they choose, including DMZ.

New seasonal weapons aren’t as exciting for DMZ players as they are for MW2 and Warzone 2 players for the simple fact that DMZ players have the chance to lose those new weapons. However, some players have wondered if there is any way to obtain the FTAC Siege through DMZ specifically, bypassing the traditional unlock methods.

To see the answer to that burning question, you can check out our guide below.

Where to find the FTAC Siege in DMZ

Unfortunately, from what we can tell early on, it does not appear as though the FTAC Siege can be found and extracted with in DMZ. Some players thought perhaps one of the new bosses in DMZ would drop the pistol as a reward for killing them but that does not appear to be the case.

Instead, players will have to unlock the FTAC Siege for use in DMZ the old-fashioned way. This involves either completing a weapon challenge or purchasing a store bundle. The weapon challenge to unlock the FTAC Siege requires players to kill 50 enemies using a sidearm while hipfiring. This can be done in any game mode across DMZ, MW2, and Warzone 2. However, in any mode, you will need real player kills, as AI kills will not count toward the challenge’s progress.

Once you have unlocked the FTAC Siege, you can equip it to use on any loadout you want.
