There are certain challenges in COD Mobile that can stump players more than others. Earning achievements like a Bloodthirsty medal takes some time but at least players know exactly what they need to do to earn it. However, longshot medals have been a thorn in the side of any Call of Duty player and the same is true in COD Mobile.

For most players, earning longshot medals will only be a problem when going for camo challenges. One of the challenges along the way to earning Gold camo require players to accumulate a set number of longshot medals. The challenge is only required for long-range weapons but that doesn’t make it any easier. However, there are a couple ways for players to start racking up the medals quickly.

Getting longshot medals in COD Mobile

The definition of a longshot is a bit murky in COD Mobile. Essentially, players need to kill an enemy player at a distance that qualifies as a longshot. This distance isn’t going to be measurable by players, though, so they’ll have to use their best judgment.

When picking a spot to get a longshot, players should choose a map that has long lines of sight. A map like Highrise, Standoff, Crossfire etc. are all great choices. They have distinct long sightlines for players to utilize. When players choose a spot to earn the medal, they also need to ensure they have the right loadout.

Using a high-zoomed scope is the best course of action. Also, utilizing attachments that stabilize recoil and increase damage range are recommended. This makes the player’s gun more powerful and less prone to kicking. With the high-zoom scope, players should be able to lay into enemies from long-range with ease.

After a player has earned one longshot medal, they should make a note of where they currently are and where the enemy they killed was. Knowing that distance is good enough for a longshot, players can then plan their other kills around that. With enough time, players will have more than enough longshot medals to earn their weapon camo.
