How to get a 3-Plate Armor Vest in MW3 Zombies

One of the most crucial pieces of loot you can obtain in Call of Duty MW3 Zombies is a 3-Plate Armor Vest. While you might not need one when you’re in the Low or even Medium Threat Zones, it’s absolutely a necessity in the High Threat Zone.

As such, if you want to progress in MW3 Zombies, you need to find a 3-Plate Armor Vest quickly. Of course, with the way the loot works in Zombies, you either need to complete a specific task or get extremely lucky when looking for the vest, as there are not many guaranteed spawns for any piece of loot on the map of Urizkstan. Luckily, though, some actions you can take in Zombies yield a solid chance at scoring this high-tier vest.

Finding a 3-Plate Armor Vest in MW3 Zombies

Unlike Large Rucksacks, there is an easy way to obtain a 3-Plate Armor Vest that doesn’t require putting yourself into too much danger or completing a specific mission/contract. All you need to do to acquire a 3-Plate Armor Vest is to venture into the Medium Threat Zone (orange zone on the map) and visit a Buy Station (shopping cart icon). You can also go into the High Threat Zone (red zone on the map), but it’s not necessary.

Here, you can press the “Gear” tab and find the option for the 3-Plate Armor Vest. You can purchase the vest for 10,000 Essence, which might take you a while to acquire. If you have the funds, you can press purchase and walk away from the Buy Station with a newly minted 3-Plate Armor Vest.

You will have that armor vest in all future Zombies matches, even after you exfil, so long as you keep using the same Operator and don’t die. If you die in Zombies, then you lose all of your gear, including the 3-Plate Armor Vest.

Aside from purchasing the vest, your next best bet to obtaining one is to complete Infested/Mercenary Strongholds or other contracts on the map. All of these tasks will reward you with a Reward Rift upon completion, which could contain the 3-Plate Armor Vest you’re searching for.
