Fix the annoying error

Errors have become a common sight in Call of Duty MW3 since its release, but one of the more annoying errors to see is “Your Profile Was Signed Out.”

This error seems to happen randomly, forcing you back to the starting page of the Call of Duty application. The error then tells you to either restart or quit to your desktop/system. Since the error can occur at seemingly any time, it’s difficult to discern exactly why it’s happening to you. Fortunately, there are a couple of things you can do to easily fix the issue and stop the error from preventing you from accessing MW3.

In most cases, “Your Profile Was Signed Out” is an error that occurs because of something on your end rather than something on the developer/game side of things. For the most part, if you simply press “Restart” when the error pops up, then you should be able to reboot the Call of Duty app and get into MW3 without any issue.

The real problem occurs if you continually see the error after rebooting MW3 over and over. To help solve that issue, you can take a look at the possible fixes below:

  • If you’re on PC, then completely exit out of either Steam or Battle.Net by closing the app through Task Manager. Then, reboot the program and relaunch MW3 from there.
  • Restart your PC or console and then try to launch MW3 again (you can go a step further by unplugging your system from its power source and waiting 1-2 minutes before plugging it back in).
  • Ensure your network connection is functioning properly, as even a quick loss of connection will cause the error to occur. I recommend soft resetting your modem/router, which means unplugging it from power for 3-4 minutes and then plugging it back in.

Those are three most common fixes you can try if you are experiencing the “Your Profile Was Signed Out” error in MW3. Hopefully, the developers find a way to stop the error from occurring so frequently, but until then, try those fixes and pray they work.
