You never want to see an error code when booting up Call of Duty: Warzone or MW3, but you especially don’t want to see one called “Niamey-Logan.” This error popped up at the start of Season 1 and told players their data was corrupt and they needed to reset their rank to continue.
Obviously, that’s not something any player wants to do, forcing them to deal with the Niamey-Logan error as quickly as possible. If you are still struggling with the Niamey-Logan error in MW3 or Warzone, then you can take a look below for all the possible fixes.
Fixing the Niamey-Logan error in MW3 and Warzone
The exact message you will likely receive in conjunction with the Niamey-Logan error reads:
“ERROR: Your date is corrupt or didn’t download properly. You must reset your rank and unlocks to continue. [Reason: NIAMEY – LOGAN]. Yes or No?”
When you see the error code pop up, you have two options, which is to press either Yes or No. If you want to get past the Niamey-Logan error code, then all you have to do is click Yes. Even though the message says it will reset all of your unlocks and rank, that’s not actually going to happen. When you click Yes, the worst that will potentially happen is all of your loadouts will be reset. Your rank, unlocks, bundles, and everything else will remain on your account.

Your loadouts might be affected across multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone but they also might not be. In my case, my multiplayer loadouts were gone and I had to go through various tutorials in MW3 once again, but that was all that happened after getting past the Niamey-Logan error.
So if you ever see that error again in the future, just remember you only have to click Yes to get past the message and start playing MW3 and Warzone.
