How to find Disciples in MW3 Zombies

Don't get too close

Disciples are Elite enemies in Call of Duty MW3 Zombies that you might need to find and kill for a certain mission, contract, or even camo challenge. If you have already seen these Elites on the map, you know just how dangerous they can be.

However, if you’re fortunate enough not to have experienced a Disciple yet, know that there are a couple of types of them, they fly around the map, and they siphon your health to restore their own health if you get too close to them. They can be an extremely difficult enemy to take down, especially the higher-tier ones that spawn if you’re doing a certain contract in Zombies.

If you absolutely need to find Disciples in MW3 Zombies, though, then check out my guide below to see where they can spawn on the map.

Finding Disciples in MW3 Zombies

Just like every other Elite enemy in Zombies, such as Mimics, Disciples can only spawn randomly around the map. As far as I know, there is no guaranteed way to ensure a Disciple spawns where you want it to on the map.

However, there are some ways to increase your chances of seeing Disciples or other Elite Zombies. The first and easiest way is to simply roam around the orange Medium Threat Zone in Urzikstan. Elite Zombies are far more likely to spawn here, especially if you’re trying to complete a contract. There are also certain contracts that require you to kill Disciples, which will spawn one at the contract’s location. These types of contracts are called Big Bounty Contracts, and while they are not guaranteed to spawn a Disciple specifically, they offer the best chance at seeing one.

You can also try to complete Infested Strongholds in Zombies, which require you to destroy yellow cysts inside of a building. During this process, zombies and Elite Zombies will spawn around you to try and stop you from destroying the infestation.

Finally, after the Season 1 update, you can now find some Disciples at Exfil Points. However, they are most commonly found at Exfil Points in the Medium Threat Zones, as Manglers tend to spawn more in the Low Threat Zones.

If you manage to find a Disciple in MW3 Zombies, my first piece of advice is don’t try to take it on too aggressively. Instead, you want to try and play around cover so it has a harder time attacking. However, you also want to ensure the Disciple doesn’t siphon too much of your health, as this makes it 10x harder to kill the Elite since it keeps restoring its own health.

I suggest making sure you have a Pack-A-Punched before trying to find Disciples, at the least. Having a couple of perks also doesn’t hurt, as this might allow you to take more damage or run faster to avoid the Disciple’s siphon.
