How to find and beat Dokkaebi in MW3 Zombies

Season 1 Reloaded didn’t introduce a ton of new content for Call of Duty MW3 Zombies, but the major addition is a new Warlord, named Dokkaebi.

Dokkaebi is a fresh boss who utilizes electronic warfare to dispatch her foes. She is located in a dangerous area of Urzikstan and you need to be fully prepared if you want to defeat her. Managing to pull off this task rewards you and your team with high-tier loot, so it’s certainly worth the effort to find and dispatch Dokkaebi. However, before you can even think about the loot you’ll get for eliminating the Warlord, you need to know where to find her on the map.

Finding Dokkaebi in MW3 Zombies

Fortunately, you don’t have to travel outside of Urzikstan to find Dokkaebi in Zombies. Similar to The Warlord at the Legacy’s Fortress, you can find Dokkaebi at a specific location on the map. Every match, Dokkaebi will be atop a skyscraper in the middle of Zaravan City, which is always in the Medium Threat Zone.

Unlike Legacy’s Fortress, it doesn’t appear as though you need any specific item to get the opportunity to fight Dokkaebi. You simply have to find a way up the skyscraper, get past all of her defenses, and then you can defeat the Warlord.

Beating Dokkaebi in MW3 Zombies

Now that you know where to find Dokkaebi, you have to work on eliminating her. This is not an easy task, as the Warlord is surrounded by AI enemies as well as several technological defenses. More specifically, Dokkaebi utilizes drones, turrets, and a Wheelson to keep you away from her location atop the skyscraper.

I recommend destroying all of these technological defenses before you try to take on the Warlord, as the fight can get difficult with a drone or turret shooting at you. When you do fight Dokkaebi, she is armed with a gun and has extremely good aim. She is also more elusive than any other enemy you’ll fight in Zombies, using cover and quick movements to dodge your bullets and deal damage when you’re not suspecting it.

The best way to fight Dokkaebi is to get close to her, as long-range fights are difficult with the way she moves. If you’re playing in a squad, then spread out and attack her from all angles. If you’re solo, then getting up close and personal with an upgraded weapon or two is the easiest way to eliminate her quickly.

Once you defeat Dokkaebi, you can loot a Reward Rift for some high-tier items, including Wonder Weapons, perks, ammo mods, and more.
