How to evolve Happiny in Pokémon Go

You've got walking to do.

Pokémon Go has plenty of community days but when they feature Chansey you’re probably going to stumble upon Happiny eggs. I know during the community day in February 2024 I wound up getting multiple Happing eggs from Pokestops around my area.

This Fairy-type Pokémon has two evolutions, but making the first jump to Chansey isn’t as simple as just feeding candies. No, you’ll need to know the specific requirements if you want to evolve your newly hatched Happiny.

The good news is that the process overall is extremely simple, but it might take you a bit of time to complete. Here is what you need to know so that you can evolve your Happiny into an even cooler Chansey.

Once you have a Happiny in Pokémon Go to evolve into Chansey you must take feed it 25 Candies and then select it to be your Buddy Pokémon and walk for 15km.

It’s that simple! If you do this once you complete the distance you will notice that your Happiny evolves into Chansey. Now, your next move will be to evolve your new mon into Blissey and this process is even more simple.

Evolving Chansey to Blissey only requires 50 Candies. So that means you shouldn’t struggle too much once you get the first evolution done, it’s just the 15km of walking that’s going to be tough.

That should be all you need to know! Now you’re fully prepared to take advantage of the next community day to feature these Fairy-type Pokémon.
