Among the loadout options that players have available to them in Call of Duty: Vanguard, Dual-Wield shotguns are perhaps the most annoying. Sure, the broken Commando lunge is overpowered to a huge extent but players have a chance of stopping that. If an enemy has Dual-Wield shotguns, they’re incredibly dangerous on the map.
Naturally, players have seen YouTubers and other players equip these monsters and they want to know how to do it themselves. The process isn’t too difficult but players will need to dedicate some time to leveling up a specific shotgun in order to have them. Below, players can find out exactly what they need to do to unlock the Dual-Wield shotguns in Vanguard.
Equipping Dual-Wield shotguns in Vanguard
First, players must reach Level 49 on their account in Call of Duty: Vanguard. This level unlocks the Double Barrel shotgun, which is the only weapon in the class that has the akimbo attachment.
Once players unlock the Double Barrel, they’ll need to level up the gun significantly. Players should do so until they unlock the Akimbo Proficiency, which is among the last attachments players will earn for the Double Barrel.
After unlocking Akimbo, players will have two shotguns in their hands the next time they load up a match. However, in order to make the most out of the class, players will want to use specific attachments. Those attachments are listed below:
- Muzzle: M97 Full Choke
- Stock: Removed Stock
- Ammo Type: Buck and Slug
- Rear Grip: Pine Tar Grip
- Kit: Quick
These attachments will make the Akimbo Double Barrel shotguns an absolute monster in Vanguard. However, players will still want to use them on a smaller map, as the range on the weapons isn’t too great. That’s all there is to equipping Dual-Wield shotguns in Vanguard multiplayer.
