Call of Duty and Twitch are partnering up yet again to deliver some bonus content to fans. With the release of Call of Duty: Warzone, the community’s hype is at an all-time high, making it the perfect time for a promotion like this. From now until March 18 at 10 a.m. PST, you can watch select Twitch streamers to earn some bonus rewards in Warzone. You must watch for a total of three hours in order to earn all three rewards, which include an MP7 weapon blueprint. Here’s how you can set up your Twitch account to unlock the Warzone rewards.
Twitch delivers bonus content to Warzone players
We’ve seen promotions like this in the past with Call of Duty and Twitch. In WWII there were various Twitch Prime bundles, and even in Modern Warfare, you could watch streamers to earn in-game content. If you know how the above promotions work, then you should be all set for the current Warzone promotion.
First, you’ll need to have both a Call of Duty and Twitch account. Both are fairly easy to create and don’t take more than five minutes. Once you have both created, or you’ve already signed in, link your Call of Duty account to your Twitch. This can be done by visiting your Call of Duty profile.
Next, head over to Twitch and view all of the streamers broadcasting Warzone. Only watch the streamers that have the callout “Drops are enabled” on their profile. You can view this by clicking on a streamer and looking below their stream’s title.
Once you’ve found an eligible streamer, all that’s left is to watch their broadcast. You must watch for three hours to earn all of the rewards, but there are unlocks for watching a total of one and two hours.
As you can see from the image, if you do watch for a total of three hours, you unlock the “Cataclysmic” MP7 weapon blueprint. This is a fairly big reward, as the MP7 is one of the better weapons currently in Warzone. Again — this promotion lasts until Wednesday, March 18 at 10 a.m. PST.
