How to earn Double XP in Modern Warfare multiplayer

With Modern Warfare just a few days from worldwide release, the hype is at an all-time high. Players everywhere are itching to get their hands on what many believe to the best Call of Duty title in years. From what we’ve seen and heard so far, it’s shaping up to be a great year for fans with the amount of content at launch. As such, many players will want to unlock as many things as soon as possible. With a different prestige system and hundreds of weapon levels and camos, there are tons to unlock this year. While you can grind out these levels and items the normal way, Call of Duty is offering a few ways to earn Double XP for Modern Warfare.

Ways to earn Double XP in Modern Warfare

Every year, there are always avenues for players to earn Double XP in COD. Whether it be from various promotions to ordering a specific copy of the game, Double XP is always available. With Modern Warfare, things are no different.

This year, Activision is offering a few different ways to receive Double XP. The main way, like most years, is to buy a certain brand of food and drink. For Modern Warfare, its Mountain Dew and Doritos, a classic Call of Duty partnership.

To earn Double XP, all you have to do is purchase a Mountain Dew or Doritos product. These products are available in stores across the world so finding them isn’t difficult. Look for products that explicitly say “Modern Warfare” on the label.

This specific label can be found on different kinds of Doritos bags and Mountain Dew bottles. It can also be found on single cans of Mountain Dew Game Fuel, an energy drink. On the specific Doritos bag, a Double XP is located on the back of the bag. For Mountain Dew products, the code is underneath the lid.

Once you have a code, go to this website and enter the code on the product. It should be either 10 or 13 digits long. Entering in a code from a Doritos bag rewards you with 30 minutes of Double XP and Mountain Dew earns you 15 minutes. The maximum amount of Double XP earnable is 40 days with only one hour per day available to use.

These Double XP eligible products should be available for the next few weeks. Make sure to get some Double XP in time so you can level up in Modern Warfare even quicker!
