In the recently released Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, character customization is back!
Asides from your school uniform tops and bottoms, you can customize your character’s clothes, from hats to socks and shoes. Each city has its own special items to shop for, from unique versions of clothes to specific items like phone cases and backpacks.
Here are all the places to buy clothes in the region of Paldea.
Customization is back in Scarlet and Violet
If you want to change your clothes without even buying any new ones, press left on the Switch directional pad. It will load a list of all the customizable items that you own, from seasonal school uniforms to glasses and gloves.
To get new items, there are a lot of spots to go to, all of them located within cities and towns. Make sure to spot places you can enter by the mats in front of their doors. Almost all clothing stores have open windows showing you what items they sell. Keep in mind, lots of stores are very item specific, like shoe stores and bag stores.
Simply enter the store, look for the items you want and choose to purchase them or not. After buying an item, the seller will always ask if you want to put on the clothing immediately. This way, you don’t have to worry about exiting the store and equipping it yourself.
Levincia is known for its clothing stores
Out of all the cities you could shop in, Levincia is the best for all your clothing needs. As a city known for its fashion, both sides of the city around the river that flows through it have plenty of stores to shop at. This is the same city as the Electric-Type gym overseen by Iono, one that you can access relatively early on in the game’s path.
If you want to go shopping in one spot and get a lot of new gear to wear, Levincia is one of the best places to go. However, each city has its own unique clothes to buy, so make sure to look around to get that setup you want in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
