How Infuse works in the Hearthstone Murder at Castle Nathria expansion

Here’s a breakdown of the new keyword, how it works and more information about Hearthstone’s newest set.

Infuse keyword in Hearthstone

The new Infuse keyword in Hearthstone is centered around anima from the World of Warcraft Shadowlands expansion. Anima gets drawn from souls and powers up those who consume it.

In Hearthstone, these souls are in the form of friendly minions. Whenever a specific number of friendly minions get taken down while an Infuse card is in a player’s hand, the Infuse card becomes a more powerful version of itself.

Door of Shadows features the Infuse keyword in the Murder at Castle Nathria Hearthstone expansion. The first card is a 1 mana card from the Shadow spell school. It reads, "Draw a spell. Infuse (2): Add a temporary copy of it to your hand." It features a closed door with an ominous red glow. The card beside it is still a 1 mana card from the Shadow spell school. It reads, "Infused. Draw a spell. Add a temporary copy of it to your hand." It features an opened door with an ominous red swirls.

A couple of cards with this keyword include the Door of Shadows spell and Priest of the Deceased minion. For the Door of Shadows, once the Infuse condition is met, one can play the card to draw a spell and add a temporary copy of it to their hand.

As for Priest of the Deceased, the minion also becomes more powerful through anima. Once the card’s condition is met, it becomes “Infused” and receives a buff.

Priest of the Deceased features the Infuse keyword in the Murder at Castle Nathria Hearthstone expansion. The first card is a 2 mana 2/3. The text reads, "Taunt. Infuse (3): Gain +2/+2." The card beside it is a 2 mana 4/5. The text reads, "Infused. Taunt."

Other cards with the Infuse keyword are Buffet Biggun for the Paladin class and the Frozen Touch spell for Mage. The list of revealed cards can be viewed on Hearthstone’s official library page.

Murder at Castle Nathria

In addition to the Infuse keyword, Hearthstone’s Murder at Castle Nathria expansion features Location card types, 10 Legendary suspects plus 135 new cards that players can add to their in-game collection.

The expansion is scheduled to launch on Aug. 2, and interested players can pre-purchase either the Murder at Castle Nathria Mega Bundle or the regular Murder at Castle Nathria Bundle.

The Mega Bundle includes 80 card packs from the upcoming Hearthstone expansion, five golden Murder at Castle Nathria card packs, the Denathrius card back, the Sire Denathrius Warrior hero skin, a couple of random Murder at Castle Nathria Legendary cards, 10 Mercenaries packs and the Sandy Shores Battlegrounds board.

As for the regular bundle, it includes 60 Murder at Castle Nathria card packs, the Denathrius card back plus two random Legendary cards from the expansion.
