Togekiss leads the top 10 Pokémon list as one of the most useful Pokémon in the current meta. Togekiss has many moves that allow it to function as an effective support Pokémon. More about the May International Challenge’s top 10 Pokémon

Most of the top 10 list is filled with powerful offensive Pokémon. Dragapult, Tyranitar, Excadrill, Conkeldurr, Mimikyu, and Charizard can all provide incredible offense. When partnered with good support Pokémon, these six can wreak havoc on opposing teams, especially in their Dynamax forms. Notably, Mimikyu often runs Trick Room, allowing it to support slower Pokémon while also acting as an offensive threat.

Incineroar has a diverse set of tools, allowing it to fill supportive and offensive roles. Its Intimidate Ability allows it to lower the Attack of enemies, and it can flinch non-Dynamax Pokémon with Fake Out. In addition, Incineroar can use Parting Shot to lower its opponent’s offensive stats before switching out. On top of support moves like Snarl and Taunt, Incineroar can go on the offensive using moves like Flare Blitz and Darkest Lariat.

The other two Pokémon in the top 10 list, Dusclops and Whimsicott, tend to fill primarily supportive roles. With moves like Trick Room, Pain Split, Haze, Ally Switch, and Will-O-Wisp, Dusclops has a myriad of ways to give its opponents a hard time. Conversely, Whimsicott’s primary purpose is to raise its allies’ Speed with Tailwind. Thanks to its high Speed stat and Prankster ability, Whimsicott can almost always set up Tailwind before getting knocked out.
