The rise of a new esports team

The twenty-six year old Green Bay Packers professional is stepping into esports, planning on creating a highly-skilled team. Subnation Media is spearheading the project, providing a pathway to strategy, merchandising, content, and more. “I’m excited to partner with Subnation to build a competitive esports team that can deliver high-powered experiences for the entire community” said Valdez-Scantling.

Similar to other esports competitions, TMG will be hosting a Combine as a way to scout for its future professionals. The Combine will allow gamers of various skill levels to compete for a spot in the rising team.

Moreover, its roster will be provided with the tools to virtually train together and manage their streaming content. “I want to give other gamers the opportunity to be themselves as well as grow with others as a team.” Valdez-Scantling told Daily Esports. When asked if top esports professionals will be considered for TMG, Subnation Media replied, “There are a bunch of great players out there, and we’re inviting top prospects to our Combine in the coming months.”

The future launch of TMG’s gaming house

Additionally, there are plans to launch a team house, similar to other esports training facilities. This team house will allow players to train, practice, create content and more. Doug Scott, Co-Founder and Chief Managing Director of Subnation Media gave some insight into the future of TMG. “Together, we are going to build a premium lifestyle brand for the gaming community that provides both digital and physical entertainment experiences.”

Although plans have just begun to take place, there’s still a long way to go. While TMG’s tournament schedule is not yet solidified, Valdez-Scantling is hopeful for TMG’s success under established and up-and-coming games.
