About Dog

Dog is now with the organization as a streamer for both Hearthstone and new card game Legends of Runeterra. In the upcoming year, Dog will compete in events for both of these games and broadcast on his Twitch channel under the Golden Guardians banner.

Dog competed in the Hearthstone Grandmasters during its first season; however, before the second season started, he stepped down. This was because the practice time and limitations of his contract interfered too much with his streaming career. After he stepped down in July 2019, Dog began competing in the new auto-battler game Teamfight Tactics.

Golden Guardians taking over

The Golden Guardians organization is still relatively young, having been created in 2017 when they signed their roster for the League of Legends Championship Series (LCS). The organization is owned and operated by American NBA team, the Golden State Warriors.

Their expansion started with the aforementioned rebrand late last year. Alongside the rebrand, the organization signed various top streamers in games such as Apex Legends, Teamfight Tactics, and World of Warcraft. The first round of talent signing was only the start, however.

Earlier this week, the Golden Guardians signed Zian Naghmi as their first Super Smash Bros. Melee competitor and streamer. Now, with the signing of Dog, the organization seems unstoppable. It will be interesting to see what the next step will be for the Golden Guardians, as rumors speculate they’re still signing new talent for the upcoming year.
