Swedish CSGO organization GamerLegion has announced its signing of William “draken” Sundin to its roster. The transfer of the AWPer has completed the roster after the departure of Tim “nawwk” Johansson to NiP.
draken ends up in GamerLegion after a winding road
The Swedish AWPer’s journey has been somewhat complicated. After being dropped from NiP in mid-2018, draken’s CSGO career had been highly unstable. He dabbed in and out of teams on the regular, including NiP as a substitute and the likes of Fnatic. His move to GamerLegion comes from yet another Swedish team, Jalapeno.
Interestingly, draken has played with all the players on the GamerLegion roster at some stage in his CSGO career. The Swede is most familiar with Fredrik “freddieb” Buö, with whom he first entered the Counter-Strike scene back in 2015, in a Swedish team named Aftermatch.
With now a full squad, GamerLegion looks like a more-than-decent team on paper. Draken’s career has had its ups and down, but perhaps now he can find a true home in his career, especially due to his acquaintance with the remaining team members.
GamerLegion’s roster after draken’s addition looks as follows:
- Dennis “dennis” Edman
- Hampus “hampus” Poser
- Alfred “RuStY” Karlsson
- Fredrik “freddieb” Buö
- William “draken” Sundin

As to the team’s matches and upcoming events, the team has just lost to Dignitas at Europe Minor Open Qualifier 1 for ESL One Rio this year. It is unknown, unfortunately, what the team’s plans are for the upcoming months in terms of events.
