Gambit’s Redgar delivers gifts to other players at VALORANT Champions

Players have taken to Twitter to sing Redgar's praises

The holidays are in full effect at VALORANT Champions and it’s Gambit Esports’ Igor “Redgar” Vlasov delivering the gifts. The wholesome 24-year old from Russia has already made his name in the professional VALORANT community for his strong play on one of the top teams. But, it’s his extracurricular activities that have made Redgar your favorite pro’s, favorite pro.

“We got his goodie bag of candies and stuff, and they’re honestly pretty good,” Cloud9’s Nathan “leaf” Orf said. “There’s some dried fruits in there that are pretty good.”

Redgar even went so far as to provide individual gifts for certain pros and members of the Riot Games production team. Unfortunately, not all the pros have had the opportunity to taste these Russian snacks. Some have watched from the sidelines, waiting for their turn to receive the care package.

“I want to try them out,” Team Secret’s Jayvee “DubsteP” Paguirigan said. “So, please Redgar.”

Almost all the top VALORANT pros in EMEA, and many who’ve competed against Gambit Esports at international LANs, have received a gift from Redgar, who brings extra luggage abroad to fit all the treats. His cheery demeanor and tasty Russian snacks have made him a fan and pro favorite alike.

“I haven’t talked to him in person but just from interactions with the community and what I’ve heard, he’s definitely a positive guy,” leaf said. “It’s kind of hard to hate Gambit. They’re such nice people.”

Snacks galore

Below are just a few of the many pros who took to Twitter to express their gratitude for Redgar’s gifts. The thanks come from Vision Strikers’ Kim “stax” Gu-taek, KRÜ Esports’ Roberto Francisco “Mazino” Rivas Bugueño and Team Vikings’ Gustavo “Sacy” Rossi.
