Call of Duty
There are two distinct categories that submachine guns fall into in Call of Duty: Warzone. There are the balanced SMGs, which do well at most ranges and usually become a best-in-class option. Then, there are the guns that excel in close-range combat thanks to their high fire rate. When used in the right situations, these SMGs can be absolutely lethal. One of the best options for this kind of Warzone combat is the Fennec, when kitted with a close-range loadout.
This Fennec loadout was made popular by Twitch streamer and Warzone creator Aydan “Aydan” Conrad. He utilizes it to the best of its ability by getting up close and personal with it. If fans want to mimic Aydan or simply use a terrific close-range SMG, they should check out the best Fennec loadout below.
Best Fennec loadout in Warzone
To match the Fennec’s ability in Warzone, Aydan’s loadout doesn’t equip any specific attachments that bolster range. Instead, he opts for attachments that increase its mobility and close-range prowess. This makes the Fennec a solid secondary weapon choice.
- Muzzle: ZLR Sabre
- Laser: 5mW Laser
- Stock: No Stock
- Magazine: 40 Round Drum Mags
- Perk: Sleight of Hand
The loadout begins with the ZLR Sabre, which increases damage range, reduces recoil and adds suppressed fire. This attachment means players can actually use the Fennec to kill enemies that are more than 5 meters away.
Following the muzzle, the rest of the loadout is all about mobility. The 5mW Laser, No Stock and Sleight of Hand perk all increase the Fennec’s mobility. Its aim-down-sight time, sprint-to-fire time and reload speed are all boosted. To match the reload speed, the 40 Round Drum Mags are equipped to ensure players don’t run out of bullets during a fight.
This Fennec loadout isn’t the best all-round SMG in Warzone, but it gets the job done in close range combat.
