With a disappointing outcome to the start of the 2019 CWL Pro League, Evil Geniuses have made a roster change to fix these mistakes.
Evil Geniuses announced they have signed Jordan “JKap” Kaplan and Timothy “Phantomz” Landis. These two additions will join Dylan “Attach” Price, Bryan “Apathy” Zhelyazkov, and John “Xotic” Bruno, with Apathy recently joining the roster last week. John “Revan” Boble will stay on the team as a coach.
Mathew “Royalty” Faithfull has signed with UYU after being dropped. However, Tyler “FeLo” Johnson and Jevon “Goonjar” Gooljar-Lim have seemingly gone into free agency.

Evil Geniuses’ New Roster
Jordan “JKap” Kaplan joins the roster from eUnited and is well known for his two-time Call of Duty World Championships while on Denial Esports and Team Envy. He had this to say about joining Evil Geniuses:
I’m very excited to be a part of such a great organization and am ready to get to work with our new roster. With CWL London so close, we have no time to waste.
Timothy “Phantomz” Landis previously played for Faze Clan Black. He recently most notably took first place in the Open Tournament at CWL Fort Worth.
Dillon “Attach” Price is on loan from FaZe Clan as a Flex Player for Evil Geniuses. He had this to say about the new roster change and departing players:
I want to say thank you to Jevon, Matt, and Tyler for their hard work in the short time we spent teaming together. I am beyond excited to start a new chapter on EG with Apathy, Jkap, Phantomz, and Xotic. It’s the perfect mix of veteran players who have left a huge mark on the scene and are still going, teaming up with young and hungry players ready to become the next big names.
Player Chemistry
Although this roster doesn’t have much chemistry together, JKap has played with both Attach and Apathy on other teams. While not altogether, they have teamed up separately to win World Championships. However, the team currently sits at the bottom of Division A in the CWL Pro League with a match record of two wins and nine losses.
The new lineup will debut at CWL London on May 3-5, 2019. They play in Pool C, alongside eUnited, FaZe Clan, and Team Envy.
