We’re on our way to the first Call of Duty League Major of the 2022 season. Major I will take place on LAN at the Esports Arena in Arlington, Texas. A live audience will greet the home team, OpTic Texas, although plenty of other team fan bases should also come out in force through Sunday, March 6.
How to watch the Call of Duty League Major I
Since Activision Blizzard made a broadcast deal with YouTube, all Call of Duty League matches will be streamed there. You can find all the match VODs on the official CDL YouTube page. Upcoming broadcasts can be found there as well.
Standings ahead of the first 2022 season LAN
Unlike last season, all teams will qualify for CDL Major I. The teams within the top eight after qualifiers will begin the Major in the winner’s bracket. The bottom four will start in the loser’s bracket. The final weekend of online play had some completely unexpected results. Here’s the updated bracket for Major I:
Team’s to watch heading into Arlington
Atlanta and OpTic are looking good, but only one team will be able to remain in the winner’s bracket. Our bet is on OpTic, but it’s going to be close. London and Toronto aren’t looking nearly as hot, but both teams could make a run to the grand finals on Sunday.
Seattle, Minnesota, New York, LAG and Florida have all gone home.
Our predictions had Atlanta taking the trophy home, but London and Toronto were right behind them. Anthony “Methodz” Zinni and the Boston Breach, the Paris Legion and the LA Thieves are all down in the lower bracket. We’ll see who can make a run at Call of Duty League Major I.
