Warcraft Arclight Rumble is Blizzard’s new mobile game, an official livestream revealed on Tuesday. For iOS and Android users, Warcraft Arclight Rumble is an action strategy game that features characters duking it out in epic battles using familiar faces from Azeroth.
Warcraft mobile game
In this game, players get to command the forces of Warcraft tabletop miniatures in multiple lanes across different missions. Each Warcraft Mini has unique abilities that can improve via talents.
As players fight their way across Azeroth, they can unlock new maps and bosses. There are more than 60 Warcraft minis to collect at the start, and players must build armies within the five playable families: the Alliance, Horde, Blackrock, Undead and Beasts.
While the Alliance features defensive units and spells, the Horde is great for overpowering foes. Meanwhile, the Blackrock can tear through enemy defenses, the Undead can deliver a bunch of troops to the field and a stampede of Beasts can overwhelm enemies.
Here are some leaders within the Warcraft mobile game:
- Alliance: Tirion Fordring, Maiev Shadowsong and Jaina Proudmoore
- Horde: Grommash Hellscream, Sneed and Cairne Bloodhoof
- Blackrock: Rend Blackhand and General Drakkisath
- Undead: Bloodmage Thalnos and Baron Rivendare
- Beast: Charlga Razorflank and Hogger
Players who wish to play siege units can go for Sneed as a leader, as he has the “Sneed’s Greed” trait that makes siege units gain extra gold. For those who wish to dominate the skies, they can select Rend Blackhand, because he makes flying units costs one gold less thanks to the Blacken the Sky ability.
Players who take on Conquest missions can earn extra rewards via replaying levels with the leaders from these five families.
To grow an army in Warcraft Arclight Rumble, a player must gather coins via missions and quests. These coins can then buy Warcraft Minis, talents, experiences and tomes.
How to play Warcraft Arclight Rumble
Once a battle begins, a player arrives on the battlefield with their chosen army. The goal is to attack the boss while defending one’s own base. If a player’s base gets destroyed, the player loses the battle.
Players can capture objectives like Meeting Stones and Guard Towers along the way, too. When a player captures these, they can move their minis closer to the boss and gain an advantage on the battlefield. Meanwhile, gold is essential for lane control, and players can plunder it via Gold Nodes and Treasure Chests.
According to Blizzard, there are more than 70 single-player missions alongside weekly and monthly challenges in the form of dungeons and raids. While there is a new dungeon every week, cooperative raids happen each month. Players can also get their friends to join the action via guilds or the competitive and cooperative game modes.
Interested players can now pre-register for the Warcraft Arclight Rumble via the game’s official website.
